How the Free plan quota works
Understanding your 60,000-character monthly pool
The Lara Translate Free plan gives you 60,000 characters per month to use across all features: text translation, document translation, audio, image translation, and Lara Interpreter.
There are no daily limits and no per-feature caps. Your monthly pool is shared across everything you do in Lara.
How the quota works
- Monthly reset: Your quota refreshes at the start of each billing cycle, on the same date each month.
- Shared across features: Every translation you run - whether text, a document, an audio file, or an image - draws from the same 60,000-character pool.
- No interruptions mid-cycle: Once your monthly quota is used up, translations pause until the next reset. You can upgrade to a paid plan at any time to continue without waiting.

What you can do with 60,000 characters
60,000 characters covers a wide range of everyday translation needs, for example:
- A full batch of product descriptions or marketing emails
- Several pages of a report or legal document
- A week's worth of multilingual correspondence
Need more?
If 60,000 characters per month is not enough for your needs, you can upgrade to the Personal plan (500,000 characters/month) or one of the Team plans (from 1.5 million characters/month, unlimited users). Visit laratranslate.com/pricing for the full breakdown.
