Speech to Text Translation in Lara

Convert your spoken words into translated text with Lara

Lara provides a built-in speech-to-text feature that allows you to dictate text using your voice and instantly receive a translated version. You can also use text-to-speech functionality to listen to the translated output. This is particularly useful for hands-free translation, language learning, and accessibility.

How to Use Speech-to-Text and Text-to-Speech in Lara

  1. Activate Speech-to-Text: Click on the microphone icon located at the bottom left of the text input box. Speak clearly, and Lara will transcribe your speech into text.
  2. Automatic Language Detection: Lara will automatically detect the language you are speaking. If needed, you can manually select the source language from the dropdown menu above the input box.
  3. Translate the Text: Once the spoken text appears in the input box, Lara will automatically translate it into your chosen target language.
  4. Listen to the translated text (Text-to-Speech): To hear the translated text, click the speaker icon in the translation box (bottom right). Lara will read out the translation in a natural-sounding voice.
