Support for Password-Protected PDFs and DOCX Files with Revisions
Translate Secure and Collaborative Documents Seamlessly with Lara
Lara is built to handle professional and complex document workflows, including documents that are protected or collaboratively edited.
Translate Password-Protected PDFs
You can upload PDF files that require a password. When a protected PDF is detected, Lara will prompt you to enter the password directly in the interface.
Your password is never stored or shared, it is used only to temporarily unlock the file for translation. Once the document is unlocked, Lara processes the translation as it would with any standard PDF.
Work with DOCX Files Containing Tracked Changes
If your Word document (.DOCX) contains comments, suggestions, or tracked changes, Lara automatically detects them and asks whether to proceed by accepting all revisions.
This ensures that the final translation reflects the clean, finalized version of your content, without requiring manual cleanup beforehand.
How it works:
-
Upload your document from the Translate Documents tab.
-
For password-protected PDFs, enter the password when prompted.
-
For DOCX files with tracked changes, confirm whether to accept all revisions.
-
Lara will then translate your file, preserving formatting and layout.
Why it matters:
These features make Lara ideal for handling sensitive documents, shared drafts, and professional materials, helping you save time, reduce errors, and maintain document integrity throughout the translation process.
