Using Lara Translate in Wordscope

Lara Translate is available as a machine translation engine in Wordscope, a browser-based CAT tool. Once connected, Lara provides translation suggestions directly within your Wordscope projects.

What you need

To connect Lara to Wordscope you need:

• An active Lara Translate subscription
• Your Lara Access Key ID and Access Key Secret

You can find your credentials in your Lara account under My Account → API → Credentials.

How to connect Lara in Wordscope

1. In Wordscope, go to Settings and open the Machine Translation tab
2. Click Add a private MT engine
3. Select Lara Translate from the list
4. Enter your Access Key ID and Access Key Secret
5. Click Confirm

Once the credentials are validated, Lara is ready to use across all your Wordscope projects.

To generate your credentials:

1. Log in to your Lara account and go to My Account → API → Credentials
2. Click Create new credentials and give them a name
3. Click Create, then immediately click Download Credentials and save the file in a secure location — for security reasons, the key cannot be retrieved again after you leave the page
