Glossaries just got a major upgrade! You can now manage glossaries programmatically across all major SDKs. Lara Glossaries let you ensure consistent translations across your projects - and now they’re fully accessible via API. Available in Python SDK v1.4.0, Node.js SDK (TypeScript/JavaScript) v1.6.0, Java SDK v1.4.0, PHP SDK v1.2.0, Golang SDK support coming soon.

Introducing Lara V2 and a new partnership with Lenovo
We’re thrilled to unveil Lara V2, our first major upgrade to the Lara model!
Built on a redesigned architecture and trained with an evolved version of Trust Attention, Lara V2 improves translation quality by up to 46%, based on blind human evaluations from professional linguists.
To make this leap possible, we partnered with Lenovo to co-design a custom hardware system optimized for real-time translation. Lara now delivers even faster, more accurate translations — especially in localization projects where quality, speed, and cost matter most.

We’re thrilled to announce that Lara Translate is now a native tool inside Latitude.so, a no-code prompt editor for building AI agents. Add Lara Translate to your workflow by heading to Prompt Manager → Tools → Integrations, clicking "Create Integration", selecting Lara Translate, and entering your credentials. You can now use Lara directly in your prompt workflows for seamless multilingual support.

Lara now supports document translation through the API - compatible with Word, Excel, XLIFF, XML, JSON, PDF and more.
PDF translation now supports two output formats: PDF and .DOCX.
Available in both JavaScript/TypeScript and Java SDKs, it’s perfect for automating high-volume translations or integrating directly into your platform.
