How Team quota works in Lara
Understanding the shared character pool on Team plans
On Team plans, all team members share a single monthly character pool. There are no individual limits per user — the entire team draws from the same quota, and you can add as many users as you need at no additional cost.
How the shared pool works
- One pool for everyone: Every translation run by any team member — text, documents, audio, images, or Lara Interpreter — draws from the shared monthly pool.
- Unlimited users: Adding more team members does not reduce the pool size. Invite your whole team without worrying about per-user costs.
- Monthly reset: The quota resets at the start of each billing cycle, on the same date each month.

Available Team plan tiers
Choose the pool size that fits your team's translation volume:
| Tier | Characters/month | Best for | Price (billed annually) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Team 1.5M | 1,500,000 | 2–3 users | €25/month |
| Team 3M | 3,000,000 | 4–6 users | €45/month |
| Team 9M | 9,000,000 | 7–18 users | €119/month |
| Team 20M | 20,000,000 | 19–40 users | €219/month |
| Team 60M | 60,000,000 | 41–120 users | €649/month |
What happens when the quota is exceeded
If your team uses more than the monthly pool, the extra characters are billed automatically at €0.20 per 10,000 characters. The team is never blocked mid-work. When the next billing cycle starts, the quota resets and extra usage billing stops.
You can monitor total team usage at any time from the Subscription page in your account settings.
Billing frequency and the quota
Whether you are on monthly or annual billing, the monthly pool size and sharing rules are the same. Only the billing cadence changes.
