Translation Modes: learning or incognito

Lara offers users two distinct translation modes: Learning Mode and Incognito Mode.

This article will help you understand the differences between these modes and guide you in choosing the right one for your translation needs.

Learning Mode

In Learning Mode, Lara securely stores translation texts. This data helps improve the quality of the translation model over time. If you choose this mode, your translations may enhance the system's performance. All data in Learning Mode is encrypted to ensure its security.

Incognito Mode

Incognito Mode prioritizes user privacy. No translation texts are stored in this mode, meaning your data will not be retained. This option is ideal if you want maximum confidentiality, but it does not improve the translation model.

Choosing the right mode

If you are focused on improving translation quality and are comfortable with data being stored, Learning Mode is the best option. However, if your priority is privacy and confidentiality, choose Incognito Mode.

Access the Translation Mode Settings

Navigate to the settings menu in the top right of the dashboard and click on the Incognito Mode toggle to choose between Learning and Incognito modes. You can switch between the two modes depending on your privacy or translation improvement preferences.
