I lost my API key: How can I retrieve it?

What to do if you no longer have access to your generated API key

For security reasons, API keys generated on Lara Translate cannot be viewed again after they are created. This means that if you didn’t save the credentials at the time of generation, there is no way to retrieve that same key later.

Here’s what you can do instead:

  1. Log in to your Lara Translate account.

  2. Navigate to the API Credentials section from your profile menu.

  3. Deactivate the old key that is no longer accessible.

  4. Click on Create new credentials to generate a new API key.

  5. Once it’s created, make sure to click Download Credentials and save the file in a secure location. You won’t be able to access it again later.

Following these steps allows you to continue integrating with Lara Translate without any disruption.
