Understanding how text translation consumes your monthly character pool

The character limit for text translation depends on your plan's monthly character pool. All characters you translate - including spaces, punctuation, and special characters  - are counted and drawn from your shared pool.

  • If you are on the Free plan, you can translate up to 60,000 characters per month across all features. Once the pool is used up, translations pause until the next billing cycle.
  • If you are on the Pro plan, you can translate up to 500,000 characters per month. If you exceed your monthly pool, extra usage is billed automatically at €25 per million characters — you are never blocked.
  • If you are on a Team plan, all team members share a single monthly pool, starting from 1,500,000 characters per month. If the team exceeds the pool, extra usage is billed automatically at €20 per million characters - the team is never blocked.
