Lara integration with n8n

Lara Translate integrates with n8n through an official community node, allowing you to add text and document translation as a native step in your automated workflows.

This integration enables no-code and low-code teams to automate translation processes without building custom integrations.

What is n8n and how Lara integrates

n8n is a workflow automation platform that connects triggers and actions across multiple tools such as CRMs, helpdesks, storage systems, webhooks, databases, and messaging apps.

The Lara Translate node adds translation as a native workflow step, allowing content to be translated as part of an automated process rather than through manual export and import.

What you can do with the Lara n8n node

The Lara Translate node supports two main operations:

Translate Text

Best suited for:

  • messages and notifications

  • dynamic content from other nodes

  • text fields from databases or APIs

  • localization files such as XLIFF

Example:
Automatically translate incoming customer emails into the team’s working language before routing or archiving.

Translate Document

Best suited for:

  • files such as PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML, or XML

  • workflows that require preserving document structure and formatting

Example:
Translate documents uploaded to Google Drive or S3 and save the translated version with a notification to the requester.

Setup and configuration (high level)

To start using Lara Translate in n8n:

  1. Install the Lara Translate community node from n8n Community Nodes
    or via npm using n8n-nodes-lara-translate

  2. Configure your Lara Translate credentials (Access Key ID and Access Key Secret)
