Set Lara as your default translation app on iPhone

You can now set Lara Translate as your Default Translation App on iPhone.
This lets you translate text directly within the apps you’re already using, without copying and pasting or switching between apps.

Once Lara is set as default, it will be used whenever iOS shows the “Translate” action.

What does “Default Translation App” mean?

When Lara is set as your default translation app:

  • Lara becomes your preferred translation experience on iOS

  • You can translate selected text in apps such as Safari, Mail, Messages, Notes, and other supported apps

  • Translations happen in context, right where you are reading or writing

In short, translation becomes a system-level action, and Lara is the app that performs it.
