Can I use Lara in Matecat?
If you want to integrate Lara as your machine translation provider in Matecat, follow these steps to set it up quickly and efficiently.

Access the Machine Translation Settings
Go to the Machine Translation tab in Matecat and click the Add an MT Engine button. You’ll find Lara listed among the available machine translation systems. -
Select Lara as Your MT Provider
In the dropdown menu, choose Lara as your preferred machine translation engine. -
Obtain Your API Credentials
If you don’t have a Lara account, visit Lara's pricing page to explore free and paid plans. Choose the plan that best fits your needs and generate your API credentials (Access Key ID and Access Key Secret). -
Enter Your API Credentials
Once you have your API details, enter the Access Key ID and Access Key Secret in Matecat's respective fields. -
Confirm Your Settings
Click Confirm to complete the setup. -
Use Lara in Your Translations
Lara is now available as your machine translation engine. When creating a project in Matecat, select Lara as the MT engine to benefit from high-quality, context-aware translations. -
Optimize Your Results with Private Translation Memory
For best results, ensure every project has at least one private translation memory active. This helps Lara learn from your corrections and improve translations over time.
