Using Translation Memories in Lara's UI
Guide to request, upload and use Translation Memories in Lara
Translation Memories (TMs) are a powerful way to make your translations more consistent and perfectly aligned with your brand’s voice. In Lara, paid plan users can benefit from having TMs linked directly to their account, allowing the system to reuse previously approved translations whenever similar content appears. While there is currently no option to upload TMs yourself, our Support Team can quickly set them up for you so you can start leveraging their advantages right away.
-
If you are on a paid Lara plan, you can have Translation Memories (TMs) linked to your account, which allows Lara to reuse your past translations for higher consistency. At present, TMs cannot be uploaded independently by users.
-
To get your TMs linked, contact our Support Team. If you are an existing Translated client, our team will take care of associating your existing memories with your Lara account.
-
If you are new to Lara and have TMX files, simply send them to Support. We will handle the upload for you and ensure they are ready to use in your account.
-
Once the TMs have been linked, you can access them directly in the Lara interface. Whether you are translating text or documents, you will see the list of available TMs and can select or deselect one, multiple, or none before starting your translation.
-
When TMs are enabled, Lara will leverage them ensuring consistency in terminology and style across your content. If none are selected, Lara will proceed with its adaptive AI translation only.
